• Fits rear axle half shafts on 1963 to 1996 Corvette C2, C3 and C4 models. 
  
• Does not fit 1980 and 1981 with 1330 series half shafts.
  

1350 Series GREASEABLE U-Joint.  Spicer greaseable u-joints are strong high mileage universal joint ready to install.  As with all greaseable universal joints these will require that you grease them with extreme pressure lubricant approximately every 3000 miles.

IMPORTANT NOTE DISCLAIMER:

Technically the Aluminum Half Shafts should use the COATED Universal Joints (see Spicer 5-3615X) but it seems that many 1984 to 1996 Corvette owners have used the Spicer 5-178X UNCOATED universal joints with great success.  They DID NOT experience any corrosion or problems in using the uncoated u-joints in their aluminum shafts.  While it is not recommended to use uncoated u-joints it seems that it is commonly done without any detrimental effects.  Please make your choice carefully.
