1966 to 1971 FORD BRONCO

Early first generation Ford Bronco's 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970 and 1971 were built with a Dana 30 front axle.  This was the first of it's kind to have the open knuckle design.  Starting in 1972 the Ford Bronco was built with the stronger Dana 44 front axle. The early Ford Bronco platform was given the model number designation U-100.  There are three versions of the U-100 Ford Bronco...the U-130 Roadster, U-140 Sports Utility and U-150 Station Wagon.
