Im always building something unusual and this latest project is no different. I dropped an 8.71 blown SBC into my 2006 Mazda B2300 truck and needed to connect my TH400 trans to the Ford 9 rear. Sent Dennys the specs that I needed and got a call from Daniel a few weeks later telling me it was shipping out. I live all the way over on Maui, Hawaii, 5k miles away, so you can imagine the anxiety while I was second guessing the measurements I gave them.     I happily stumbled across Denny's website in a quest for axle bearings. The price was great and the company site appeared to be nicely presented, so I ordered, not knowing what was about to happen...The next morning I received a call from Denny's. The gal on the phone was incredibly chipper and bright, and merely called on behalf of consumer protection. Out of all the online shopping I do, this was a first--a company circling back because they care about their customer and wanted to make sure I was the person ordering, not that my info was stolen! It was like a warm hug from grandma. Considering the opportunity with the professionals on the phone, I asked the gal a few technical questions of which she couldn't answer, but kindly paused me and patched me through to another heartwarming and intelligent person. With all questions answered, I expressed my gratitude for the morning call and was then offered free merch! Unbelievable customer service! It's too bad Denny's is not a one-stop-shop for all things automotive, because these are the types of people that make America, and we need more Denny's in the world. Don't hesitate to order from these guys! Now I find myself picking through their site to find another excuse to order.

You guys are the best. Had a drive shaft made a few years back, for my 50 Ford Custom and it also fit beautifully. I dont mind paying a little extra for something when you know its going to be right. The only place to have a drive shaft made. Just follow the directions on the website to measure it and thats it. Thanks, Bill

The flanges on both the trans and diff were different, I ordered the driveshaft through Denny's and we communicated through email and I gave him the measurements and the flange adapter needed to make the custom driveshaft and when I finally received it I couldn't be happier, it was packaged real nice and better yet it fit like a glove. It's a beast! I've been driving the truck around for 6 months now with no problems at all, and the last thing I'm worried that I'll break is that awesome driveshaft, thank you Dennys.

  • Frank A, Greenwood, DE, Aug 25th, 2023 After several experiences with local driveshaft shops, it seemed that nobody could make a driveshaft that didn't vibrate in my '68 Dart. I had verified repeatedly that the angles were correct, leaf springs were good, engine and transmission mounts were good, etc. Finally, I contacted Denny's and had a new aluminum driveshaft made. It wasn't cheap, but it solved the high speed vibration issue. I couldn't be happier! I just wish I had done it sooner.

    I have a 1970 Plymouth Duster that I have owned for twelve years. I purchased it on EBAY from a gentleman in Florida. I have worked on this old car for all of the twelve years. I have rebuilt the engine, transmission, steering pump, steering box, steering linkage, suspension, interior and exterior of this car, and not like they do it on TV, I did it a little at a time. It still leaked everything but blood. So last year I decided to upgrade to a Blue Print engine and transmission. Your company was recommended by the fine folks at Blue Print Engines. So, after I installed the engine and transmission, I then went to your website. As you know there is a detailed measurement sheet to fill out and email back. Obviously, you had trouble before this system had arrived. I filled out the sheet and emailed it back to you. Shortly after I emailed it a gentlemen called me and indicated that there was a problem with my measurements. He stayed on the phone while I remeasured the dimensions he was looking for. He was kind and treated me with respect, something in today's world you don't see much of. After I got the correct measurements, you began the process of building a driveshaft for me. It arrived in a timely manner and slid right in with no problems. Thank goodness for your measuring system. It was one of the few things that went well on this build and I thank you for that. Again, thank you for building a flawless product.

For much less than other competitors, I ordered a new yoke and seal. Within one day, a gentlemen called me and we discussed my truck to ensure this was the correct yoke and application. If that wasn't impressive enough, the yoke and seal arrived within three days. Once installed, no more leak! The shaft fit perfect and goes down the road just as perfect no more vibration or weird harmonics. I also installed the hardened rear-end yoke that Denny recommended. Denny is the best, we spent a few phone calls together to make sure this build was went off with out a hitch, he is the best of the best. He and his staff are top notch!

Bought differential parts for my street rod and, through no fault of Denny's I received wrong part. I called, explained situation and there was no hassle a new part was sent that day and I was given a return slip so it cost me nothing- no hassle or waiting for them to receive my return before they would send new part. Then it dawned on me that my weak hand is nothing compared to my three hundred and fifty horse power engine could move them when they are pushing a 3900 lb. truck. So I think they'll be okay. They should work as good as they look, and last for many years.

I broke off a part of the retainer groove on one side. Found Denny's on the net. They had the exact part plus a diagram to check the replacement dimensions. He answered all my questions and we went over what was best for my 1969 Chevelle. Once I received the driveshaft, it was packaged great. And when I had a few questions during installation, Daniel was extremely helpful and did not rush me off the phone. These guys want to help. Want you to be satisfied. You don't see that kind of service anymore.   • Jeffrey S, Boyceville, WI, Jul 13th, 2018 I purchased a driveshaft from Denny's, and WOW! I was hoping the driveshaft would show up before my trip to IA, but it unfortunately didn't. So I drove to IA with a bent, loose, and WAY out of balance shaft! As soon as I got home, I immediately installed the new driveshaft! The first drive was better than new! I didn't realize how bad the shaft was! The ride after the install was very smooth! I was having a big problem with a vibration that I just couldn't solve! All of my driveability issues were solved with the new shaft! I was a little cautious during the ordering process, just due to the price of it! I was very afraid of it being either too long or too short, and have to live with the vibrations even longer! Would I do it again....YES! Was the price worth it....ABSOLUTELY! The new shaft is literally night and day difference! Cost, quality, and durability is what I was looking for! I'm sure I could've gotten a cheaper shaft, but I don't think it could've beaten Denny's! I'll be ordering another driveshaft for another project vehicle, Guaranteed! Considering the cost of it, you DO get what you pay for! Thanks Denny's!

My question pertained to 2 different dimensions about the transmission yoke engagement and amount that remained outside the transmission to the center of the transmission yoke u-joint. I did an engine swap that moved the engine forward requiring the driveshaft to be longer and a new longer yoke was put on my existing shaft and rebalanced. He reassured me that my dimensions were good. He could easily have sold me a new shaft which I was prepared for. Quite the testament to an honest businessman. From the first time that I searched the website, the attention to detail, organization, and clear informative data on all parts, options, specs, etc truly impresses me. As a Marine, these are the life blood of what I do, same goes for truck projects. Anyone who has rebuilt a 30 year old axle or drive shaft knows the random variables involved...what's not quite metric and not quite standard...Denny has the answer for you. He has spoken with me on the phone multiple times, taken time out of his day to chew the fat on the finer aspects of U joints, ball joints, specs, Spicer parts that literally cannot be found anywhere else (he won't even give me his part's source, but that's fine I'd still keep my business here simply due to the quality of customer service). The young lady who handles the office work is also just as informative and extremely helpful. Every part I purchase arrives in a timely manner, securely packed, items that require instructions are clearly laid out, much of this info is freely posted by Denny on the website which is what keeps me coming back. The intricacies of these types of parts and how they fit, what years or options they fit, what works on what type of setup...you can't find anywhere else and that truly is a blessing.   • Robert W, Baker City, OR, Oct 4th, 2017 It was about 8 months after I received their driveline before I actually installed it, but I remember how specific they were about all my measurements be fore ordering it, and when I finally removed my driveline it looked to be a little loner than mine and I got worried it wasn't going to fit, but I went ahead and install the yoke and then the driveline and it fit perfectly and car runs really smooth, it's a 71 Camaro 383 sbc with a turbo 400 trans, my car runs 12.50 at Firebird in Boise ID. I am very impressed and would highly recommend them in the future.

I chose two day air and it arrived the next day!! Also, the parts were all perfect.   • Brian P, Mar 7th, 2017 Denny spoke with me on the phone and discussed everything with me, including every option available for a new yoke. He was kind enough to give me some education I didn't have. I learned a lot from a simple phone call and I also learned where to visit for the best sites of Niagara Falls. At any rate, Denny told me it would be about 4 weeks before I received my order. However, it was exactly 3 weeks to the day and it was delivered. Once I received my driveshaft, which is a 3.5" aluminum shaft for my 68 Camaro and T56 transmission, I opened the box and it was a thing of beauty. It is the first driveshaft that I have ever ordered and I was quite nervous about the measurements. However, when I talked to Denny, he talked me through them so I was even more comfortable when making them. At any rate, when I went to put the driveshaft on, it fit like a glove. It only took me a few minutes to get it installed. Coming with complete installation hardware was a plus as my old ones were not usable any longer.

I downloaded Dennys calculation sheet and ordered a driveshaft for my hot rod. Well a couple weeks later a beautiful driveshaft shows up on my door! The only issue is it was too short. I messed up big time, I sent a bad measurement to Denny! I called Denny in a panic, Denny was very patient and we spent some time correcting my mistake. I sent the drive shaft back and to my surprise received a tracking number 2 days after Denny received it. What great customer service! I wouldn't hesitate to send any one to these guys!

  • Frederick G, Glassboro, NJ, Oct 25th, 2016 I have been experiencing a high speed driveline vibration problem on my 87 Monte Carlo SS ever since I bought it about 5 years ago. Spent several hundred dollars at a local machine shop to have the stock driveshaft balanced, twice!! Even had a new trans yoke installed and the local machine shop even cut off the yokes and squared up the ends of the driveshaft. The result was still the same. The vibration problem was unchanged. Finally decided to order a 1330 Series 3.5 inch Heavy Duty Steel driveshaft from Denny's. It was special order and I got it 4 weeks after I placed the order. It was packaged very well. High quality workmanship. Email questions sent to the tech department were answered promptly. After installing the new driveshaft, my vibration problem is gone. Very satisfied with Denny's.

  • Stephan E, Sep 7th, 2014 I'm lucky owner of a 1967 Chevy Camaro SS RS Big block with a 427 engine. Car is a 1:1 Copo Camaro clone.
    Since I own this California car now (4 years) I had to struggle with annoying vibrations in my drivetrain. This also wrecked my Muncie M-21 gearbox, 1 year ago and I had to replace it. I spent any effort to locate reason for this vibrations, during this I had the driveshaft balanced. Since I could not locate it and driveshaft was balanced I had no clue, where it will come from.
    So, after lots of nights with thinking about it and some talks to my engine builder, we came to the result, to replace the driveshaft no matter what.
    Then I start doing some research to find a good manufacturer for this new driveshaft. With my car I learned that even the best parts are good enough and will be hassle free.
    Thanks to the lots of testimonials from happy customers all over the world I decided for Denny's!
    This was the best decision, by the way.
    I started reporting about my issue and sending some pics of my driveshaft. They could see on pics itself that this will match to my problem I told them about. This gave me some confidence that I might be on the right track.
    I couldn't wait it until to have the new driveshaft at home. Even if he told an approximately delivery time of 4 weeks, the driveshaft arrived earlier. Shipping within 2 days from USA to Germany with UPS!
    Unfortunately the driveshaft was 1.5 inches to short, my mistake. I get in touch with Denny and he was really willing to help me out and we had some nice email traffic. After I send him the right length of the driveshaft, measured multiple times to make sure not to make another fault, he really took any effort to build me a new driveshaft and had it shipped out within one week.
    After I unpacked the new one (second) I first measured it and saw he build it exactly as I send him the new measurement.
    I was pretty sure, this time I did everything right and it will fit.
    Next day I bolted the driveshaft in my car and fits perfect.
    Not to be to early with my enthusiasm I made a test drive.
    WOW! I cannot say how much happy I am now. All the vibrations and noises from the body this vibrations caused in my car are gone!!
    Its hard to believe its same car. Now it drives smooth and like a new car. No need to be afraid anything could break now when I push the pedal.

So when it came to finding a unique driveshaft for my 2001 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 Mud BogStreet cruiser, it was a total no-brainer who to turn to when I needed a shaft to connect my NP231 transfer case to my custom built Ford 9" rear axle. It arrived in a few weeks ready to bolt in and the fit was excellent. No vibration on my lifted Jeep whatsoever. When people ask me who built the driveshaft I tell um, Denny's are the go to people to connect any diff to any transmission, no matter how much power you put to the ground. I only wished they still put the contingency size decals in the box for the side of your racecar like they used to when they built my Mustang shaft back in 1997. Yep, I'm a lifetime customer!

It went thru a 4 year restoration 4 years ago and I've replaced just about everything, and worked on pinion angles to no avail. I had my existing driveshaft shorten and rebalanced due to adding a overdrive trans, which didn't help, I even had a new driveshaft built locally which didn't help. Finally after talking to Denny I ordered a new HD steel shaft and my car is now smooth as silk!   • Eric M, CO, Oct 29th, 2013 I had Denny's make both front and rear 1350 series driveshafts for my 400HP Cummins diesel powered 4X4 (transplant) and am now fully confident that I won't be destroying them with too much push on the skinny pedal. The old shafts had tiny u-joints so I was always delicate on the clutch & throttle to avoid tearing them apart. The new shafts are as good looking as they are tough and functional, and the price was more than fair for the quality of the product. Denny's made the swap-over easy by including all my yokes and hardware in one well-padded package. The drive-line is now smoother and much quieter too. Thanks Denny and crew!!!

Was told it was a driveshaft issue and decided to upgrade to 700 lb. torque 5 speed which came with it own custom driveshaft. Still vibrated. Then had the 12 bolt completely rebuilt. Played with pinion angles. New wheels, tires, brake drums, you name it. Even installed another custom driveshaft from our local shop. Was about to give up. I was told about Denny's Driveshafts and had a new Aluminum Shaft made as a last resort. I have no vibration what so ever. 80mph and up. Thanks so much. Always was the shaft just had the wrong company make it.

I tried three different driveshafts... first from a friend then two that where built for my car (ALL VIBRATED). They all said "it wasn't the driveshaft it was my car".   • Charles S, Jarrettsville , MD, Aug 26th, 2013 Just wanted to mention to you...I had been chasing a gremlin in my 67 Chevelle for years, a bad vibration since being restored. I tried everything. I knew it was not the driveshaft as I had this built for me by a "reputable" driveshaft shop in my area. Finally while pulling second hard at a high rpm, the M22 tail housing sheared off in the middle. I rebuilt what needed to be fixed and installed one of your shafts. Finally, the vibration was gone! It was the shaft!! You guys are great.
    My Chevelle has never run smoother. Thank you!! I can now see out of the rear view mirror at 70 mph and actually see what is behind me.

Finally decided that I had a bad driveshaft, both balance and length, were the source of my problem. Driveshaft length and length of slip yoke extending from the transmission tailshaft are so critical to a vibration free ride. Called Denny's and got exactly what I needed at a great price. Everyone was great to deal with. Installed the the new set-up, HD3-1310, and it fit perfectly. Went for a drive and vibration is completely gone. Finally!!!!

  • Brian S, MD, Aug 16th, 2011 I just wanted to write a quick thank you to the EXCELLENT customer service I received yesterday. The gentleman on the phone not only knew driveline parts, he also wanted to be sure he could help with my pinion flange problems. I had purchased a U-joint from Denny's Driveshaft but only to realize my second Ford center section has a 1310 flange instead of the 1350 flange I had on my original center section. Everything I was told was absolutely correct. I had purchased this used rear and two center sections from a fellow racer. I had built everything correctly with the 6.33 center section (U joint, driveshaft length etc). What threw me off was the 5.67 center section. The 1 18 u joint caps will fit into the 1310 flange, after looking last night there is just the slightest gap. What the racer did before me was actually swap pinion flanges between the center sections to allow the driveshaft and u joints to work properly for the gear change. I made the switch last night and my entire driveline is happy. But I just wanted to write a thank you because the tech guy was excellent and I will be using your company for all of my future driveline parts. I will be racing Saturday night at Hagerstown Speedway (MD)- dirt circle track- in my Ford.

I ordered a slip yoke for my Ford E4OD and after receiving it found that it would not fit. The barrel diameter was bigger than what the E4OD will except. I placed a email to Denny's and the next morning got a call from Mike (sorry can't remember your last name). They had found that I was right in my measurements on the E4OD and sent me out a slip yoke that will fit... that day with no extra charge for the more expensive yoke and without even having the other sent back yet. Awesome!! Nowadays, you just expect to have problems with things like this, you know " well, you should've measured first and sorry but ..." There was none of that and I would recommend these guy's to anyone looking for drivetrain components! I will be a repeat customer for sure! Thanks, Adam Luanne

Denny's showed them as backordered on their website and after calling, I found out that they were expecting a new shipment to come in by the next week.
    I called a few times afterwards and the shipment had not arrived and they didn't know exactly when they would show up. I waited a few more weeks and called back and they had saved one for me, even though I hadn't left any specific contact information. This is outstanding customer service and I will use them and highly reccomend them for any future driveshaft needs.

    old motorhome that I'd done an engine and tranny swap on and
    needed a C-6 yoke for a 1350 u-joint. I found you in a
    Street rod magazine. I've never once had an issue with your
    yoke. I've taken that 6-ton vehicle up a 14% grade. I still
    have that motorhome. Thanks for manufacturing a great

I searched here in Kansas City, MO and no one had the part. I found these guys online and ordered my axle shaft and did overnight air shipping. I called them the next morning to make sure I ordered the right part, the person I spoke to was very helpful and even thought of me needing a new axle nut, which I forgot all about. I told them my need to get the part ASAP and was told they would take care of it. My part was shipped before 6:00pm that night and made it to Liberty MO, at 9:46am the next morning. I was able to get my truck on the road before the storm and didnt miss any work.   • David d, Dec 28th, 2009 Denny it hase been a couple of years since I bought the aluminun shaft. The car has been on the road for a year now and it has 4000 miles on it. Had the car at 190mph while beating a Aston Martin vantage!! I'm not sure how much rpm your driveshaft turned but 5800 engine rpm 0.67 overdrive transmission and 3.42 rear end ratio. At that speed I had no unbalance problem what so ever. I'm currently working on a 7000rpm 700 hp Pontiac engine to get deep into the 200mph zone . Either with this car or the 69 GTO.   • Kenneth L Q, Pemberton, NJ, Oct 28th, 2009 I've had your Nitrous Ready Driveshaft installed in my 2000 Camaro SS for about 3 weeks now and all I can say is, WOW!!!!!!!!!! This is my second 4th gen Camaro, and like the first one, it has always been plagued with a highway speed vibration from the rear of the car. Between the two, I have replaced rears and driveshafts. Yes, I installed a name brand aluminum driveshaft in the '95 LT1 Z28 M6, and it still had a highway vibration so bad between 65-85 mph, you could not see clearly in your rear view, and side mirrors. Blur City!!! My '00 Camaro SS A4 had the same problem with the factory aluminum driveshaft, that got worse when I put in a Ford 9", 31 spline, 3.70 geared rear. Put in the made to specs Denny's Nitrous Ready Driveshaft and now I drive my car on the highway just to convince myself I'm not dreaming!!!! If I ever need a driveshaft for any other vehicles I own now or in the future, it will be a Denny's!!!!! I love driving my car now!!! It's like driving a new car now.

  • John C, Proctorville, OH, Apr 24th, 2009 Thanks so much, you fixed the high speed vibration I had in my 1966 mustang fastback, 347 stroker, TKO 600 5-speed, 9 inch locker rear with 3.89 gears with 18 inch shelby rims.. This car now runs smooth at any speed....I have tried 3 different shafts!! Yours is the only one that got rid of the buzzing high speed vibration.. Thanks again.. I will be using your shafts on all my rebuilds from now on!!!!
  • Mark R, CT, Mar 3rd, 2009 I just wanted to let you know that I received my new heavy duty driveshaft today and it is a perfect fit! It is installed in my 1966 Mustang fastback that has been modified with a 9" rear and TKO600 transmission. I upgraded the rear yoke to a 1330 u-joint when I placed my order. I was a little concerned that with all of these changes, it would be tough to get a good fit. A foolish concern on my part and why this is the fifth driveshaft I have ordered from you with every one a perfect fit. Thanks so much for your quality and professionalism.     I just would like to tell tell you that the parts I ordered from you, arrived Friday at my door. The axles looked just fine and I couldn't wait mounting them. So the "Vette" was on the road again Saturday at lunchtime. I am very pleased with your handling of my order. So thank you very much. Before I found you on the Internet, I tried to get these parts from 2 different Am car companies here in Norway, but none of them could get it from their USA connections, even GM had 0 in stock. I don't think you mind that I tell them about your company. I will also inform about your Internet home site, in the "Forum" to my Amcar Club and Corvette Club here in Norway. :-)

  • John N, Jun 30th, 2006 We received the 4X4 Driveshaft you had made for my son's 1990 Full-size Blazer last week. This vehicle runs 33x12.5-15 tires without a lift, but has been a destroyer of standard u-joints. My son's driving in the mud may have something to do with that. Once the rear u-joint broke in half and the whole drive shaft thrashed around and came out. Needless to say, the old shaft was never the same.
    I was impressed with the excellent workmanship when we took the shaft out of the box, and we did the install yesterday. Everything went right in, including the new rear pinion yoke to accept the Spicer 1350s. In two hours we had it done, and on the road.
    The new shaft was smooth as silk - my son thought the truck was supposed to vibrate going down the road. With the bullet-proof solid Spicers, hopefully it will stay that way.
