Rubber Boot Installation Tool

Use this handy tool when installing Rubber Boot ... Part Number: 2-86-418 ... onto your 1310, 1330 or 1350 series CV Driveshaft. 

It's a simple job to replace the rubber boot on the CV stud yoke when you have the proper tools but it can be a real problem if you don't.

Can be used with a hydraulic press or it can be used by striking it with a mallet.  In either case it makes the job simple and there is no damage done to the rubber boot during installation. 

 TIP:  Remember to look for and to remove the old metal ring from the old rubber boot.  Look closely to see if it is still on the CV Stud Yoke.  If it is you can easily remove it with a screw driver and a small hammer.  A small tap with the hammer and the old metal ring should come right off.
