Installation Tip:

When changing a flange yoke on any 1963-1979 Corvette half shaft you should be carefull to never strike the flange yoke or driveshaft with a hammer. The u-joint must be pressed into place and care must be given not to ever squeeze the driveshaft tubing in a vise. This will cause permanent damage! Also a Corvette flange yoke can be bent if not supported properly while pressing the u-joint into place. The best way to achieve this is to bolt the flat flange surface to a heavy piece of steel plate so it cannot bend while you are working on it.
