Spline and Slip Yoke Matched Sets
Choose from the various sets listed below for both steel and aluminum driveshaft applications. Each page will give you the collapsed, middle and extended dimensions so that you can determine the correct matched spline and slip set to do the job.
***If you are building a new driveshaft... choose from the tube diameter and maximum slip travel dimension that suits your application.
***If you are repairing an existing driveshaft... For the first step you will need the measurement from the center of the u-joint to the weld on your existing shaft. We suggest that you do this measurement before you remove the driveshaft from the vehicle. You would typically use the mid point dimension of our new set to compare to your dimension to find a suitable replacement set. Next step is to remove the worn out spline from the tubing and carefully measure the butt diameter to determine if our spline butt diameter will match yours. This is very important for the spline to have the proper press fit into the tubing. You will also need to know the u-joint bearing cap diameter and the width of the u-joint from cap to cap to determine the series of your existing driveshaft parts.
