Denny's Driveshafts offer a variety of Chevrolet Chevelle Universal Joints. The typical early Chevelle driveshaft was usually 1310 series. During the 70's they switched to the GM 3R series and that size carried on to the end of Chevelle production. Keep in mind that your Chevelle may have any combination of u-joint sizes so please don't assume anything. Please measure your u-joint width before ordering. The 1310 u-joint will measure 3.219 wide and the 1330 will measure 3.625 wide. Both will have a 1.062 bearing cap diameter and both use outside snap rings to hold the u-joint in place. The GM 3R series is always 3.625 wide and 1.125 bearing cap diameter and uses inside "C" clips to lock the caps into place. Greaseable and non greaseable maintenance free versions are available. Our high mileage maintenance free Spicer universal joints are the best choice for long life and absolutely no greasy mess under that beautifully restored Chevelle . Denny's also carries the various Combination U-joints that allow you to connect mismatched driveline components.
