Denny's Driveshafts stocks the Ford 9 inch rear end pinion yokes in a variety of u-joint series in the 28 spline version.
The Ford 9 inch rear ends can be found in just about any Ford car or light truck. Ford enthusiasts around the world have used the 9 inch rear end in countless street and race car applications. The Ford 9 inch has found its way into just about every brand of high performance vehicle on the road or track today.
The original equipment u-joint size was either 1310 or 1330 series. The 1310 series is commonly known as the "small" u-joint and the 1330 series is known as the "large" u-joint. Both of these can be found on the Ford 9 inch rears.
The original equipment hardware used to hold the u-joint into the pinion yoke was comprised of two 5/16 inch u-bolts.
We can supply both the 1310 series and 1330 series in the original equipment u-bolt style and we also have the 1350 series chrome moly pinion yoke in the u-bolt style, which is a much stronger way to go.
The ultimate in strength and reliability is the infamous 1350 series. The Ford 9 inch 28 spline pinion can now benefit from the simple installation of a 1350 series pinion yoke. Our 1350 series Ford 9 inch pinion yoke will fit both the small bearing and large bearing pinion supports, aluminum or steel. They come with a spacer that fits between the pinion nut and yoke to allow installation on either type rear end pinion support. No need to buy another yoke when converting from the small bearing support to the large bearing support.
