Denny's Driveshafts - One Good Reason is Enough!!!
If any one of these applies to you then it is time for a new driveshaft.
- REMEMBER we build driveshafts. We know what will work best in your application. Don't be fooled by a seller that doesn't actually build shafts. The internet is filled with online companies selling driveshafts that do not actually build anything.
- You have built more horsepower, torque and traction for this season and you are using your old driveshaft. It may now be questionable as to its ability to continue to handle the increased performance. It's an expensive gamble.
- Remember that your engine, transmission, ladder bars, frame, fuel pumps, tires and wheels are all items that can and will get damaged by a broken driveshaft when it happens. Can you repair or replace any of these for the price of one of our driveshafts?
- Don't kid yourself...if you think that adding nitrous or a blower doesn't mean that you'll need a stronger driveshaft. All that new horsepower and torque goes right through the driveshaft, doesn't it?
- Having a manual transmission always meant the necessity of a stronger driveline. With the increase in cars with automatics and tranny brakes, this now means the car is going to need a stronger drive shaft to handle the "neck snapping" launch.
- An old saying "out of sight....out of mind" often applies to the driveshaft. You really need to consider what you may be doing, whether on the street or the track, and decide if you are willing to compromise strength at any cost.
- A very common call that we get, is one where the customer wants to know if we can balance their oem driveshaft to run at a high RPM like ours will. This is just not physically possible in most cases. The OEM driveshaft, or one built like it, was not built to handle this high RPM smoothly. It was built to run at best 4000 RPM. Now you are buzzing that same shaft at 7000 RPM or greater and the whole car will "buzz" with it. We cannot make your driveshaft go as fast as one of our CUSTOM MADE HIGH SPEED BALANCED DRIVESHAFT ASSEMBLIES and an oem driveshaft definitely wasn't built to do it.
- Vibration is a big concern when it comes down to a quicker ET, not to mention the annoying effects of driving any vehicle that has a driveline vibration. We can build you a driveshaft that will go the RPM that you need and do it smoothly. Now you can enjoy your ride and a quicker ET.

It is very easy to have the driveshaft that you need in your car, so don't let your "lack of experience" stop you. Believe me "a lack of experience" in regards to failure is a good thing. TERMS: Payment can be made by MC, VISA and DISCOVER charge cards or by United States Postal Money Order. Sorry we do not accept any other forms of payment and we do not ship COD. All New York State businesses that are purchasing from us “TAX EXEMPT” must provide us with a signed and properly filled out NY State Sales Tax Exempt Form mailed to us and received by us BEFORE the purchase is shipped. We will only ship to the address of the tax exempt business.
SHIPMENTS: All orders are shipped FOB KENMORE, NEW YORK. We ship most domestic orders by UPS. Overseas PARTS ORDERS can be shipped by US MAIL or UPS. ALL overseas DRIVESHAFT ORDERS can be shipped by UPS or DB SCHENKER. We ship your order by the most efficient and economical means possible.
SHIPPING HOURS: Same Day shipping for "IN STOCK" PARTS if ORDERED ONLINE before 3 pm Eastern Time Monday through Thursday and before 12 noon on Friday. Orders received later than the times listed will be shipped out on the next business day.
CLAIMS: Damage claims must be made to the freight carrier and to DENNY'S no later than the first business day after receiving your order. Under no circumstances are you to install or use any item that you feel is damaged in shipping or if it does not fit correctly.
RETURNS:

NO custom built driveshaft will be accepted for return.

Other merchandise requires previous arrangements with our shipping department.

You MUST CALL or EMAIL and obtain a Return Authorization number (RA number) within 5 business days of receiving the merchandise.

We will not accept any returns without the RA Number displayed on the outside of the box.

We will not accept any returns on items that have been installed or used or if they show signs of abuse, damage or rust.

All returns must be shipped prepaid.

A 15% handling fee will be charged on any order that is returned.

Please note that if you have purchased the wrong item you can return it without incurring the handling fee by making a second purchase of the correct item. All that you will need to do is to put a note in the Comments Section of the online order form telling us the ORDER NUMBER of the second order for the correct part. Please be sure to make that second purchase before you send back the original item.

We do not refund any shipping costs for any item regardless of shipping method.

Your refund will be credited to your credit card number used for the original purchase.

If you had paid with a US Postal Money Order we will send the refund using the same.

Our return shipping address can be found at the top of the Product Return Form.
DELIVERY REFUSAL:

No custom built driveshaft orders will receive any refund for any circumstances if delivery is refused.

If you refuse a delivery or the package is returned to us as undeliverable you will receive a refund for only the items purchased minus the 15% handling fee. Shipping costs for that package will not be included.

Return shipping costs for that item will be deducted from the refund amount.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY: No warranty express or implied applies to any part or service offered by DENNY'S DRIVESHAFT SERVICE INC. Purchaser or user assumes all risks from the use of any item or service purchased or acquired. Purchaser is advised to have a properly constructed driveshaft loop or loops installed prior to installing and using the driveshaft. We will however, replace the driveshaft or refund the full purchase price as described on the original invoice to the original owner if weld breakage or tube twisting or tube breakage occurs. Not to exceed the original advertised statement involving the description "If you ever twist our steel tubing or break our steel welds...we'll replace it FREE". If a u-joint breaks and damages the entire unit the replacement of the drive shaft will be at the expense of the owner. We cannot be responsible for universal joint breakage due to the many circumstances that we have no control over. Excessive joint angle, lack of maintenance or improper universal joint series due to the purchaser understating the intended usage, or the addition of horsepower over and above that which the driveshaft was originally built for, improper installation, usage of driveshaft in another vehicle other than the one it was built for, to name a few examples. We cannot be responsible for conditions that we have no control over. Driveshafts purchased from a vendors catalog, driveshafts purchased from a car builder or any source other than directly from Denny’s must be handled through the original seller. Please contact them directly. If you purchase a used driveshaft from an online auction, such as ebay, or from a classified ad or swap meet be very careful to be sure the driveshaft is really a Denny’s Driveshaft. If you know the original purchasers name you can verify its authenticity by calling us. The fact that the driveshaft has a sticker or label on it with our name on it does not mean it is one of our driveshafts. There has been a few cases in which our decals have found their way onto a driveshaft that we did not build.
