40062272 pinion flange is 2.5 inches measured from flange face to end of spline. This is 1/2 inch shorter than some of the obsolete OEM flanges but this is all that is currently available. Please note that your driveshaft slip spline should easily handle this length change without any issues otherwise lengthening the driveshaft will be necessary.
