Designed to replace the stock length driveshaft on the Impala SS. Complete 1330 series 3.5 inch 6061-T6 Aluminum Driveshaft with 27 spline automatic transmission slip yoke and u-joints to connect to the stock 8.5 inch 10 bolt 3R Series pinion yoke. Built with 3.5 inch 6061-T6 aluminum tubing this driveshaft is stronger than stock and is high speed balanced and tested to be sure it will perform smoothly in your Impala SS. Great item to cure the typical stock driveshaft vibrations that occur after a gear change.
PLEASE NOTE: This driveshaft is sold based on stock vehicle requirements. If your Impala SS has more horsepower than stock and/or extended contral arms we suggest that you contact us before selecting to purchase. Please be sure we know your engine horsepower, your engine rpm and your complete vehicle weight. Also... if your automatic has a trans brake or if you have switched to a manual transmission. These factors will enable us to determine if this is the right shaft for you. Please measure using either our Diagram "B" or Diagram "C" to order. |
