Strength, reliability & lightweight all in one package. Call our Tech line for more info about using our HD ALUMINUM DRIVESHAFT in your STREET ROD or DRAG CAR.

Launching with the wheels in the air is no problem for our HD Aluminum Driveshafts.

This Mustang does it easily and with total reliability.

Our HD ALUMINUM Driveshaft Assembly will deliver the power to the rear end and stay together.   MMC aluminum driveshafts are the strongest, and we have it. When it comes to STRENGTH, HIGH RPM Vibration Free performance and RELIABILITY then this is the one you want.   HIGH SPEED BALANCED and TESTED to be sure it will perform smoothly throughout your full rpm range.

We can put one of these into your Street Rod as well as your Drag Car and you can enjoy the benefits of lightweight reliability. Please note...we DO NOT offer our “twist it or break it” replacement with any aluminum driveshafts.  We only offer this with our steel driveshafts.

No folks, not all aluminum is created equal. In the driveshaft world you most often see the 6061-T6 aluminum which is commonly used in passenger vehicles and light trucks. DENNY'S MMC Aluminum tubing for high performance street and race car driveshafts is the one you can count on.  MMC tubing is the “high tech” grade of aluminum used in driveshafts and it is about 30 percent stronger than 6061-T6.  If you are looking for an inexpensive way to cut your ET or smooth out a vibration  then this is the one for you. We also use a stronger weld yoke at each end of this shaft for added strength around the u-joint bores as well as solid body u-joints.  A very important factor!

Our lightweight HD ALUMINUM shafts are completely welded construction not glued together like Carbon Fiber driveshafts. And most Carbon Fiber shafts are glued or bonded to the lesser strength 6061-T6 aluminum. Think about it...glued together! I think that most of you would agree that welding is stronger and more reliable than glue. You should note that in 99 percent of the applications that you may have you will find that our HD ALUMINUM driveshaft will be more economical and will perform equally or better than Carbon Fiber driveshafts.

In certain applications the demands on a driveshaft are far too great for some aluminum to handle. That is why we have 2 grades of Aluminum shafts to offer.

What this means is, not all applications can utilize an Aluminum driveshaft  successfully. We do not recommend that you use a 6061-T6 aluminum shaft in heavy high performance vehicles or race cars with clutches or trans brakes.  The HD Aluminum driveshaft is better designed for that kind of abuse. High performance street cars and race cars can reap the benefits of DENNY'S HD ALUMINUM at a very reasonable cost.  Heavyweight vehicles, 3400 lbs or greater,  with clutches or trans brakes should seriously consider the track proven abilities of our NITROUS READY steel driveshafts for total reliability.

We also have a lighter duty 6061-T6 version that is great for the street rod enthusiast who wants to "polish"it. The LT version is great for mild street applications and polishes up better than our HD Aluminum will.  See LT Aluminum for more info.

Comes in 3.5 inch OD and available in 1330 and 1350 series.
