Our 3 inch Heavy Duty steel driveshaft design is the most popular choice. Comes in 1310, 1330 and 1350 series. It will handle the horsepower and deliver smooth performance throughout your entire rpm range.
You can also have one built using 2 inch or 2.5 inch tubing if space or clearance is an issue
Each shaft comes with the appropriate transmission slip yoke and two non greaseable maintenance free high mileage universal joints. We use this type of universal joint instead of the greaseable type because we know you really do not want all that messy grease splattered all over that beautiful frame work..
We build them with meticulous attention to detail. Each shaft is HIGH SPEED BALANCED and TESTED on special equipment to be sure it will run the rpm that you require. If it does not pass this test it doesn't get shipped out. No guess work here...we know what it will do for you because of this final test. That is why a DENNY'S DRIVESHAFT will perform BEST in your application.
At the rear end...if you have the flat flange style (see Diagram “K” ) typically found on Ford 8.8 and Jaguar differentials...we can supply a new flange yoke or we can use yours. You will need to ship it to us to balance your shaft correctly. We also have a variety of replacement U-BOLT STYLE PINION YOKES for both types.
Most often you will be using Diagram “B” or Diagram “K”. See also DIAGRAMS " D,E, and L".
